Membership of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland is open to full-time graduates of a recognised university School of Podiatry. It is also open to non-graduates who are on the HSE List of Chiropodists/Podiatrists Approved to practise in the Public Health Service.

Membership entitles you to access to a wide range of resources.

Members of SCPI are listed on the SCPI database, which is searchable database open to the public.

Marketing Materials

SCPI have a range of products to help you market your practice. Produces available include logos, a large range of colour brochures, posters, advertising copy and other material.

Society Meetings

Regular society meetings are held and these are usually casual but informative. Guest speakers are always welcome and encouraged. If you have a special interest or know someone who can provide an interesting presentation.

Seminars and Conferences

As a SCPI member you will receive registration discounts when you attend society conferences in Ireland. Notices of seminars and conferences are detailed in the regular newsletters or you can look up coming events on our website.

You can call a colleague from the society or we will put you in touch with the relevant source if you want

  • advice about getting your practice going
  • advice about promoting and running your practice
  • a second opinion about a diagnosis
  • to talk to an experienced and competent podiatrist about anything
