We are delighted to announce our nineth annual Palliative Care Week, which takes place Sunday 11 – Saturday 17 September 2022. Please see the press release here which has been issued to regional broadcast, online and print media across the island of Ireland to launch the week.
Our theme this year ‘Palliative Care: Living as well as possible’ provides us with an opportunity to raise awareness of the positive impact that palliative care has on the lives of people with life-limiting illnesses and their families; allowing them to live their lives as fully as they can.
The support and involvement that we receive each year is key to making the campaign a success and we hope that you will help us this year in sharing the positive messages about palliative care:
Promotional Materials – We are delighted to have received all promotional materials for distribution and we have a wide range of digital/social media resources available for you to use to support the Palliative Care Week 2022 campaign. The promotional materials can be downloaded here. We would be happy to send you printed copies of the leaflet, poster and social media frame. Please contact email@example.com indicating how many you would like and the postal address where they should be sent to.
Events – We know that some of you and your organisations are planning events and activities during Palliative Care Week. If your organisation is planning any events, report launches or other activities to coincide with Palliative Care Week, please let us know as we’d like to publicise activities taking place on The Palliative Hub and to our networks.
Social media – We would be delighted if you could support media activity, including sharing information about your work in palliative care on social media. We invite you to use the social media graphics available here, some of which are blank and allow you to add your own logo if you wish and post it on your social media channels, using the #pallcareweek hashtag.
You can find out more on The Palliative Hub here or to let us know about events (including online) or other activities, please contact Paula Pinto, firstname.lastname@example.org or Yvonne McCahill, email@example.com
Please join us in promoting palliative care during Palliative Care Week.
